Privacy policy
What we collect
When you use the booking form on this site, we collect the details you type into it: your name, phone number, event type, event date, area, and — if you fill them in — guest count, budget range and your message.
We do not collect anything else. There is no account to create and no newsletter sign-up. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use the site — see the Cookies section below.
Where it goes
When you press Send on WhatsApp, two things happen:
- WhatsApp opens on your device with the message already written out. The message is not sent until you press send inside WhatsApp. If you close WhatsApp without sending, we never see it.
- A copy of the form is saved by our website host, Netlify, and emailed to us. This is so an enquiry is not lost if WhatsApp fails to open.
Messages you send us on WhatsApp are handled under WhatsApp's own privacy terms, which we do not control.
What we use it for
Only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and — if you book — organise your event. We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone else. We do not send marketing messages to people who enquired and did not book.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted within twelve months. Records for events we actually carried out are kept for three years for accounting purposes.
Cookies
This website uses Google Analytics (gtag.js), which sets cookies to measure visits in aggregate — how many people come, which pages they read, and roughly where they are from. We use this only to improve the site; we do not use it to identify you personally, and we run no advertising scripts. We also use Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymised, aggregated views of how people use the site (such as clicks and scrolling) to help us improve it; Clarity masks text you type into forms and does not capture your booking details. You can block all of these cookies with your browser settings or an extension without affecting how the site works. Fonts are also loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google's servers when a page loads; Google may log the IP address of that request.
Photographs
Photographs of setups we have built are published on this website and on our social media. We photograph the decor, not your guests. If we have photographed an event of yours and you would rather those images were not used, message us and we will remove them.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to [email protected] and we will action it within thirty days.
